Quick start
Get Pulsr monitoring your GTM container in under 5 minutes.
Step 1 — Add the script tag
Paste the following snippet into a new Custom HTML tag in your GTM container. Set the trigger to Consent Initialization — All Pages and publish.
<script
src="https://monitor.getpulsr.eu/gtm-monitor.js?cid=YOUR_CLIENT_ID"
defer
></script>
Replace YOUR_CLIENT_ID with the client ID from your Pulsr dashboard under Settings → Installation.
Step 2 — Configure your events
By default, Pulsr monitors the following GTM events. All thresholds are configurable per client in your dashboard.
Step 3 — Connect your Slack workspace
In your Pulsr dashboard, navigate to Settings → Alerts and paste your Slack Incoming Webhook URL. You can configure a different webhook per client domain.
Pulsr sends a structured Slack message every hour during your configured business hours when any monitored event drops below threshold.

Step 4 — Verify events are firing
Visit any page on your client's site, then open your Pulsr dashboard. A page_view event should appear in the live stream within 2 seconds.
If no events appear within 60 seconds, check that your GTM container is published and the tag trigger is set to Consent Initialization — All Pages.
